Poultry
A dynamic, competitive and multi-billion pound industry.

At SRUC you will be taught by committed specialists who are part of the poultry industry, and will help you develop the skills and knowledge required for a challenging and rewarding career.
UK poultry is a competitive, dynamic industry with an annual retail turnover of approximately £3.4 billion, making it one of the most successful UK food production sectors and offering excellent job opportunities.
In the absence of subsidy, the EU poultry sector relies on highly efficient production systems, with successful companies often using sophisticated technologies.
This is reflected in the integrated structure of most poultry companies and the number of graduates and postgraduates employed by them.
