SRUC

Issues such as conservation, climate change, habitat loss, pollution and sustainable development are all now very topical.

There is a greater public awareness of environmental issues, and organisations are increasingly required to address environmental impact through legislation.

World leaders have recognised that exploiting natural resources to a point where they are exhausted or unable to be replenished, is no sensible and responsible strategy for the future.

This has led to an employment sector that is expanding, and will continue to do so in the future, and SRUC is well placed to deliver courses which blend theory with best practice, drawing on extensive practical experience.

As a graduate of our courses, whether in Environmental Resource Management, or the related areas of countryside management and renewables technology, you'll be able to apply appropriate solutions to environmental problems, based on sound knowledge and understanding.
