About SNSS
At the SRUC School of Natural and Social Sciences, we take a systems-based approach to addressing barriers to change in the natural economy. Our academic offerings, alongside research and industry, couples natural and social sciences to address development goals in Scotland, the UK, and across the globe.

School leadership team
The SRUC School of Natural and Social Sciences is overseen by an Executive Management Team, tasked with ensuring that SNSS delivers an integrated approach to three strategic pillars across all school activities:
- Education.
- Research and development.
- Knowledge exchange and innovation.
In addition to our Executive Management Team, a Section Lead for each school area helps focus our activities into targeted learning, teaching, and innovation opportunities for our students and community.
