This National Progression Award examines the changing face of agriculture today, including the role of technology and precision farming as well as opportunities for diversification. It's ideal for anyone who wants to develop their knowledge of the agricultural sector.

Who the course is for:
This course has been designed for S4, S5, & S6 learners with no prior knowledge or experience but you must be capable of working at SCQF Level 5 and show a keen interest in the subject area.

This course is runs for one academic year based on 3-5 hours of study per week.

This course will be delivered via a blended learning approach utilising our online training platform. There will be opportunities for students to meet and engage with local agricultural businesses as well as some in-person SRUC campus practical elements depending on location.

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded an SQA accredited National Progression Award (NPA) Investigation of Modern Agriculture at SCQF Level 5.
