Aberdeen and Northern Marts, one of Scotland’s leading and most progressive auction companies are looking to appoint a Team Lead to join their existing livestock team at Thainstone Mart, Inverurie.

Leading the sheep division in the yard this would be a perfect fit for someone who is keen to co-ordinate a team, is hands-on, energetic & has attention to detail.

The Company:

Thainstone Specialist Auctions, a division of the ANM Group Ltd, is highly experienced in offering detailed valuations, sales and appraisal services for industrial and commercial assets across the UK from its offices in Aberdeenshire and the Central Belt.

The Candidate:

  • Natural team leader with ability to organise staff
  • Sound knowledge and experience of handling sheep and cattle
  • Knowledge of animal welfare standards
  • Awareness of Health and Safety for staff and customers
  • Ability to prioritise and organise busy workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team whilst also working on own initiative
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Experience driving quad bikes and handling farm equipment would be advantageous
  • This position involves weekend working on a rota basis.
