The Job:
As a Grounds Maintenance Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the playing surfaces and outdoor spaces at Stirling Sports Village, with a primary focus on the upkeep of the main grass football pitch at Forthbank Stadium. Working as part of a dedicated and collaborative team, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the stadium’s grass pitch, ensuring it meets the highest standards for sporting events.

The Candidate:
Experience & Qualifications:
- Green Keeping/Ground’s maintenance experience
- Line measuring and Marking Out
- Experience working in a sports ground preparation environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to work on own initiative
- PA1 & PA6 Certificates in Safe use of Pesticides Desirable
- (SVQ) in Sports Turf: Greenkeeping at SCQF level 5
- Certificate in Chainsaw Operations: Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-cutting, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm
- Awareness of health and safety procedures
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties
- Proven ability of working to a high standard
- Experience of working in the sport and leisure industry
- Proven problem-solving skills in a customer facing environment
- Experience of working with the public and providing a high level of customer service
- Experience in negotiating and purchasing supplies.
