The Job:
The Woodland Trust is looking for an Estate Ranger in our Scotland team to work closely with the Landscape Partnership Manager and colleagues across the organisation, to help realise the vision for the South Assynt Collaboration Project - an ecological regeneration initiative to create a thriving and robust mosaic of native woodland and open habitats that improves the environment and create a healthier, more resilient home for wildlife and people.

The Candidate:
- You have an enthusiasm for the environment and share our core values-Grow Together, Explore, Focus and Make it Count.
- Educated to HND / degree level or similar in conservation, forestry, land management, or equivalent experience.
- This is a key role in our Scotland team and for candidates to stand out, we are looking for experience in supervising site management contracts and contractors and managing health and safety on site.
- Previous experience and knowledge in wildlife and habitat conservation, including undertaking wildlife and habitat monitoring and surveys.
- Motivated, and able to work safely in remote areas, often unsupervised.
- Confident in building and developing partnerships with external and internal stakeholders and able to influence different audiences including communities and volunteers.
- You will have a full clean UK driving licence.
