Important Reminder: Storage of faecal samples from cull animals awaiting Johne’s ELISA results
PCHS members should collect and store a faecal sample from any animal being culled while its Johne’s ELISA test result is still pending. If the ELISA later returns positive, the stored sample can be PCR tested to confirm the result, helping to protect the herd’s Johne’s Risk Level status and avoid unnecessary accreditation impacts.…
