Katie Phillips
Pasture Poultry

Winner of the 2022 New Entrant Award
About Katie:
Katie started Pasture Poultry in October 2019 when she noticed a lack of quality free range chicken on the market for consumers and thought something needed to be done to give the humble chicken a new image. From a young age Katie has been feather daft so starting her own poultry business at the age of 24 was a dream come true.
What the judges said:
“An excellent example of a passionate and driven entrepreneur with a clear vision, who has delivered on that and continued to build the business base including diversifying into new markets.”

“My little business has just hit its third birthday which is the BIG milestone for new businesses. Winning the alumni award was a massive pat on the back and made me realise how proud I was of my little chicken business.”
