Digital Dairy Chain - SRUC Barony, Dumfries
SRUC and partners are making a £21m investment in research, development, technology, and expertise to develop a fully integrated and traceable Digital Dairy Chain.

SeedPod – SRUC Craibstone, Aberdeen
SeedPod is a £21 million investment in the food and drink industry being led by Opportunity North East (ONE).

Vertical Farm – SRUC King’s Buildings, Edinburgh
The Vertical Farm is an exciting, innovative farming solution being built at SRUC’s King’s Buildings campus in Edinburgh that will provide a fully controllable facility for researching crop growth.

Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre (RAVIC)
The Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre (RAVIC) will enhance SRUC’s expertise in epidemiology, zoonoses, infectious disease control and veterinary surveillance.

GreenShed
The state-of-the-art GreenShed will use cattle waste products to power a methane capturing system and grow indoor crops.

The ONE SeedPod food and drink industry innovation hub to boost high-value manufacturing has been launched at SRUC’s Craibstone Campus in Aberdeen. The project, led by Opportunity North East (ONE), is the single largest public-private investment in the growth of Scotland’s food and drink manufacturing sector.
