Are you an experienced farming or agricultural professional looking to carry out Red Tractor Fresh Produce assessments on behalf of NSF as a self employed independent contractor?

We are looking for a Red Tractor Fresh Produce Assessor to join our team of self-employed contractors in Scotland (Perth & Kincross, and Fife).

If you have practical agricultural experience and an interest in farm assurance standards and food integrity, independent auditing can offer a flexible and rewarding way to use your practical experience and industry knowledge.

The Candidate:

  • Practical on‑farm experience.
  • The ability to engage confidently, respectfully and patiently with the farming community.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage your own time.
  • Confidence in handling challenging conversations and managing conflict appropriately.
  • A flexible and professional approach, with respect for individual and company confidentiality.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to farm locations.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends where required.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
