This two-day CPD course is designed to improve delegates' knowledge and confidence in farm ruminant nutrition. Attendees will develop skills in forage analysis and feed label interpretation, gain a deeper understanding of the impact of nutrition on the ruminant digestive system, and learn about mineral nutrition and common deficiencies. The course will also focus on identifying and managing nutritional challenges in sheep and beef production systems to support animal health, performance, and farm productivity. The practical on-farm session of the course will cover pit management, feed identification, nutritional indicators in livestock and housing.
