Scottish Smallholding & Countryside Festival

Join us at the home of Agriculture in Scotland – The Royal Highland Centre for the 14th running of the Festival, with an expanded footprint and a new name!

The Festival will be held on the 17th October. Doors will open at 9AM, and you are invited to join us for our annual celebration of small farming and the countryside. It will run across the Highland, Central and Lowland Halls.

The festival is the place where:

  • You will see Livestock competitions for sheep, goats, pigs, poultry and alpacas.
  • See the Show and parade of native breed equines.
  • enter the Rural Skills competitions, and view the vintage tractor contest.
  • See the expanded cattle showcase and get a close look at the Bees.
  • Have a go sessions, demonstrations, talks and workshops.
  • 40+ craft stalls. Trade and Information stands.
  • Market featuring produce and farm products.
  • Local food and drink.
