I have been with SAC Consulting for 6 years working as an FBAASS accredited agricultural consultant out of the Stranraer office. I work mostly within the beef and sheep sector in the southwest delivering technical and financial advice to local farmers. I have a keen interest in grassland, soils and forage agronomy, in 2015 I completed my BASIS registration as a qualified agronomist and in 2022 completed by BASIS Diploma in Agronomy.
As part of the Farm Advisory Service I deliver technical meetings and facilitate a few grassland, beef an sheep groups. Getting out onto new farms and enabling the exchange of ideas and advice between farmers is a hugely rewarding part of my job.
