Mycoplasma bovis PCR

Interpretation of real time PCR screening for Mycoplasma bovis nucleic acids
A positive result indicates that M. bovis was present in the sample. A negative result indicates that M. bovis was not detected in the sample. An inconclusive result indicates that M. bovis may be present in the sample and that re-testing may be required to confirm this.
This PCR is a sensitive and specific test for Mycoplasma bovis and has been validated in bulk milk, mastitic milk, lung, synovial fluid, BAL fluid and nasopharyngeal swabs.
