We’re recruiting a Pig Stockperson to join a progressive indoor pig farm based in Aberdeenshire, AB51. This forward-thinking business continues to invest in modern facilities and management systems, ensuring efficient, high-welfare production.

The Company:

Roadhogs Recruitment are recruiting a Pig Stockperson to join a progressive indoor pig farm based in Aberdeenshire, AB51.

Job description:

As part of a dedicated team, you’ll be involved in all aspects of running a 500-sow indoor unit, covering everything from breeding through to finishing.

Working Hours:

  • 07:30 – 16:45, including 1.25 hours of breaks
  • Every second weekend on the rota.

The Candidate:

All Applicants should:

  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Work well within a team
  • Demonstrate strong animal welfare standards
  • Have basic maintenance skills.

Experience:

Experience with tractors or telehandlers would be advantageous, though not essential.

Entry-Level Candidates:

Ideally, you’ll have some experience with pigs or livestock – full training can be provided.

Experienced Candidates:

Confident in all areas of breeding management, from AI through to farrowing.
