The Job:
We have a new opening for an Assistant Estate Manager to help with the management of our 33,000 acre Estate, based in Douglas, South Lanarkshire.
The Douglas Estate comprises a wide mix of activities including agricultural, forestry, sporting, residential, commercial and tourist/leisure activities. The role will mainly be assisting with the land based activities.

The Company:
The Douglas Estate comprises a wide mix of activities including agricultural, forestry, sporting, residential, commercial and tourist/leisure activities. The role will mainly be assisting with the land based activities, including management of land and building contractors, compliance with agricultural records/support schemes, organising let shooting and oversight of third party civils contractors.
The Candidate:
The ideal applicant will be practical and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills. An appropriate degree qualification in agriculture, land management or similar is desirable but not essential. As important is practical experience in a land based role.
A full driving licence is required.
