SRUC

Trusted support for farmers.

We provide independent advice to farm businesses of all sizes. With a network of 24 offices in Scotland, we have over 100 consultants who work, live, and (in many cases) farm and croft in the areas they serve. Our agricultural consultants have a broad knowledge of all farming and crofting enterprises and have strong connections across the wider industry.

We deliver value through local support and long-term trusted relationships designed to fit the unique needs of your farm business, wherever you are based. We work to improve farm efficiency, nurture growth and offer sustainable solutions to our customers. We offer guidance on current policies, improving efficiency and advise on how best to meet the evolving need of the landscape.

Our expert teams have extensive experience in areas such as farm support payment or grant schemes (such as IACS or AECS), NVZ (Nitrate Vulnerable Zone), ILMP (Integrated Land Management Plans), nutrient planning, agronomy, grassland, livestock, whole farm plans, farm budgets and sustainable systems including biodiversity or carbon.
