It is exactly a year since we launched the second edition of Rural Scotland in Focus, first published in 2010.
RSiF is the SRUC Rural Policy Centre’s flagship report, produced every two years offering a fast-track to evidence about the state of rural Scotland.
The latest, 2012 edition included commentary on key themes such as population trends, housing needs, economic resilience and the environment, as well as to acting as an extensive compendium of resources.
With one year down and one to go before Rural Scotland in Focus 2014 is launched the Rural Policy Centre (RPC) has issued a blog outlining the themes that will be researched and covered. The RPC would welcome and suggestions, ideas or examples of case studies linked to these themes that would offer key information and help provide a context to the facts and figures that inform policymakers about what is currently happening in rural Scotland.
