Oatridge Campus proved an excellent venue for the latest SRUC Careers Convention.
Open to SRUC students across a range of courses and qualifications it offered a forum to meet potential employers and those offering further study.
There were over 20 stands for students to visit and a number of presentations. Among those SRUC’s Dr Alistair Hamilton, Social and Environmental Group Team leader who co operated with SRUC’s HR staff to hold seminars on job applications, CV’s and giving presentations. Among the group of potential employers, which included companies like EQ Accountants, Frontier Agriculture, Greenvale AP or Harbro and organisations like SSPCA and Scottish Wilfdlife Trust, was SAC Consulting.
Student Recruitment Office Suzanne Hay, who co ordinated the event, described it as successful and said feed back from both exhibitors and students was very positive.
