food and drink Supply Chain and Data AnalysisSRUC is a unique, multi-functional organisation within Scotland as its activities, expertise and capability extend across the whole supply chain.  The importance of food and drink provenance, market opportunities and ongoing economic pressures highlight the importance of working with an organisation with credibility from farm to fork.

SAC Consulting Food and Drink has been involved with a number of supply chain projects including:

  • Soft Fruit for processing
  • Oats
  • Venison
  • Whisky

These projects are usually collaborative and often multi-organisational.

SAC Consulting Food & Drink consultants work with colleagues in other disciplines such as economists, Lean process trainers, agricultural husbandry and business management experts to add value to analysis.

Blockchain is a new and exciting DEVELOPMENT that has potential to provide higher levels of traceability and provenance throughout supply chains as well as helping to make the more efficient by changing the way in which they function, collaborate and share information.  SAC Consulting Food and Drink is investigating the potential of Blockchain by conducting projects to test and apply the technology in different supply chains and sectors.
