Edinburgh Agricultural Economics Discussion Circle

The Edinburgh Agricultural Economics Discussion Circle (EAEDC) meets on a monthly basis during the winter to discuss topics of relevance to agriculture and rural development. The group is an informal arena for open discussion of a wide range of topics, and is open to everyone interested in agriculture and rural development. Meetings often focus on discussing a recently completed piece of research or a topical policy issue, and past topics have included CAP reform, Brexit, and agricultural effiency improvements

The Group meets on the first Monday of every month (unless otherwise advertised) at 6pm at Apex Hotel, Haymarket, Edinburgh, and is organised by SRUC's Rural Policy Centre. Light refreshments will be available on arrival.

The 2018-2019 season began again on the 1st October 2018, and anyone is welcome to come along to the group. If you wish to speak at the group, have a suggestion for a topic of discussion, or are simply interested in attending, please contact rpc@sruc.ac.uk.
