Agricultural economists at SRUC have been researching the expected impacts of the 2015 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) reforms on Scottish livestock farmers as part of the Scottish Government's RESAS Strategic Research Programme.

A series of four research briefings have been produced which demonstrate the expected impacts of the latest round of CAP reforms and how Scottish beef, sheep and dairy farmers are likely to respond.

This research was conducted by SRUC's Policy, Innovation and Behavioural Change Team using data from the Scottish Farm Accounts Survey, Quality Meat Scotland and a survey of farmer intentions, carried out before and after the recent CAP reforms.
