Pay and Grading Structure

As a result of the merger in October 2012, work has been undertaken in relation to new staffing structures within the Education and Finance and Corporate Affairs divisions. Similarly, the recent creation of a Research, Enterprise and Commercialisation department has required a consultation process to be carried out.

Business proposal documents are currently being consulted with the Trade Unions, following which consultation with staff will commence.

Pay structures will remain in place as they currently stand within the four former colleges (Barony, Elmwood, oatridge and SAC), and will be considered in due course as part of the work relating to harmonisation of terms and conditions of service.
