Outdoor sports facilities at the Aberdeen campus include an all-weather sports Astroturf sports pitch that is suitable for tennis, basketball, hockey and 5-a-side football. A gym is located in Mackie Hall for weight and cardio training.
There is also a bar that has snooker and pool tables and resident students can also join the Beacon Community Education and Sports Centre in Bucksburn, allowing the use of the swimming pool and other sports facilities provided. For golfers, there is an 18-hole pay and play golf course which is a 5-minute drive from the Campus. There is a bar and restaurant in the clubhouse.
The estate is also linked to the "Four Hills" walk, which many students and staff use for running and keep fit. Kirkhill Forest close by offers an excellent technical mountain bike course and also a great walking/running challenge. Students organise sports competitions with those from other SRUC campuses and other agricultural colleges.
- The gym has unlimited access however, it closes at 11.30pm (it is unsupervised)
