Financial support from Trusts and Charities
Many educational trusts, benevolent funds and professional bodies offer support to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. There are many ways to identify funds that may reflect your own unique situation but help is available in the form of search facilities.
- Scholarship Search enables you to search by subject area or type of funds available as well as entering your particular details such course of study, domicile etc.
- For Scottish domicile students SAAS will, on receipt of its completed REE1, search the Register of Educational Endowments for you. Form REE1 can be found in Other Sources of Funding on the SAAS website.
- Moredun Membership, as a student member of Moredun (for £10 annually) you can apply for project grants of up to £2000. As well, membeship ensures you receive comprehensive information on a wealth of animal health problems written by the people leading the research in that area. This information will help develop your knowledge about animal diseases and how they can be controlled and prevented.
SRUC is recognised as an education provider for the purposes of certain UK Government funding initiatives, e.g. Adult Learning and the Ministry of Defence's Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme.
