Funding Options - Undergraduate Courses

Most Scottish students, and those from EU countries (outside the UK), will be able to apply to the Students Award Agency for Scotland (SAAS) for funding that will pay their tuition fees.

The Student Loans Company (SLC) can also provide extra funding for living expenses during your course of study.

Students from England, Wales and Northern Ireland

Students studying at SRUC from the 'rest of the UK' (RUK) - i.e. those living in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, will have to pay RUK tuition fees, which are often added to part of your student loan.

Details on the RUK Tuition Fees can be found in our Fees Booklet, and additional funding information can be found from the relevant funding body for your country:

If you are offered a place on an undergraduate course, you will also be invited to apply for SRUC's rUK Bursary; this will entitle you to a reduction in tuition fees of up to £1150 per year of your course - to a maximum total of £4600.

Students from outwith the EU will have to pay the overseas tuition fee rate, which will vary depending on the course udertaken, and details of which can also be found in our Fees Booklet.
