SRUC can offer first aid training to suit your individual or organisation’s needs.
Our courses can be certified by either Lantra Awards or through SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority).
Guidance from HSE suggests as a minimum, a low-risk workplace such as a small office should have a first-aid box and a person appointed to take charge of first-aid arrangements, such as calling the emergency services if necessary. Employers have a responsibility to provide information about first-aid arrangements to their employees. Workplaces where there are more significant health and safety risks are more likely to need a trained first-aider.
Our range of courses includes:
We can also deliver the +F element for those working within the forestry sector at no additional cost.

Emergency First Aid at Work enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work.
First Aid at Work covers the elements within the Emergency First Aid course and also equips the first-aider to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses.
