A herd test counts towards the risk level progression from R4 to R1 only when it is 12 months after the previous test. If the herd is already risk level 1 then the interval between tests can be less than 12 months.
I had an inconclusive reactor in my test, when should it be retested?
One month after the original sample was taken. Take blood and dung samples in case further testing is necessary. (Johne’s retest form.)
