An Interactive Knowledge Exchange Event with Educational Psychologist, Alan McLean.

The event is open to anyone with an interest in education. Places are limited and you are advised to book early to guarantee a place.

In this interactive session, Alan McLean will present the main ideas discussed in his latest book, “Knowing and Growing”, which provides a key resource to support the work of Schools, Colleges and Higher Education Institutions in promoting the GIRFEC agenda, Developing the Young Workforce, Rights Respecting Schools and the Scottish Attainment Challenge.

Alan will discuss how identity is the key to personal growth and how helping our children, students and colleagues to construct a positive identity can encourage them to grow and develop as individuals.  A short biography and background note to Alan’s work is available here for reference.
