Overview
This is a 2 hour, pre-employment food hygiene awareness course aimed at food handlers entering the food industry for the first time. The course is also suitable for staff that has an ancillary food handling role, e.g.portering staff and staff who distribute plated meals, but whose primary role is not that of a food handler.The course will also meet the requirements for induction training for staff who are not primarily food handlers, e.g. nurses porters, care assistants and kitchen support staff, the course includes:

• The essentials of food hygiene

How do I book?
To book a place on one of our courses, please complete and return the course booking form to the appropriate campus address or email address shown below. Course fees must be paid in full at the time of booking. Payments can be made over the phone using a debit/credit card, by cheque made payable to SRUC or by Bank Transfer (for bank transfer details please contact your chosen campus).
Cancellation
Cancellations must be made at least 10 working days prior to the course start date otherwise the full course fee is still payable. In the event that SRUC has to cancel a course for any reason your course fees will be refunded in full or your booking transferred to the next available date if this is suitable.
