About the Course
The Skills for Work: Rural Skills course offers the opportunity to explore the work involved in the land-based industries.
It is an ideal route for people who are out of work and would like to potentially access land-based employment such as landscaping, conservation or horticulture.
Students must be 16 years of age or over. Entry by interview, no formal qualifications required. Desire to commit to the course.
A range of topics will be covered during the course including employability skills for the land-based industries, an introduction to estate maintenance, crop production and soft landscaping.
