About the Course
Forecasts predict a major expansion in job opportunities for the renewable energy and environmental sectors, as governments implement policies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and tackling climate change.
The course aims to improve our sustainability through implementing technologies which improve the efficiency with which we use energy and technologies which can concentrate energy into forms useful to us, such as electricity, gas, heat and biofuels.
SRUC’s HND in Green Technology aims to equip students with key technical and scientific skills combined with an understanding of environmental issues and sustainable land use so that they can contribute to this ‘Green Technological Revolution.’
