SRUC Veterinary Services Covid-19 update
SRUC Veterinary Services runs the Premium Cattle Health Scheme (PCHS) from St Boswell's which is one of the largest Cattle Health Certification Standards (CHeCS) licensed schemes. We offer an effective programme of testing and management to control BVD, Johne’s Disease, IBR, Leptospirosis and Neospora alongside the CHeCS Bovine TB Herd Accreditation programme.
SRUC Veterinary Services supports national initiatives including the Scottish BVD eradication schemes, BVDFree England, Gwaredu BVD in Wales and the National Johne's Management Plan (Great Britain).
SRUC Veterinary Services are contracted with the Shetland Islands Council to operate a scheme to protect livestock health on the Islands.
SAC Consulting (a division of SRUC) manages BVD Stamp It Out England - where Defra has made funding available through the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) to support registered keepers in England, and aims to engage at least 50% of the English dairy and beef breeding in BVD control by the end of June 2021.

Shetland Islands Health Scheme
