SRUC’s senior staff enjoyed an informal lunch meeting with student representatives at King’s Buildings in Edinburgh.
The Executive Management Team (EMT) invited Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Ayr campuses rep Sam Keir; Barony Campus rep Claire Brewis; Oatridge campus rep Ross Mercer and Elmwood campus rep Alicia Kennedy to KB to chat about the new SRUC.
SRUC’s Vice Principal Education Professor David McKenzie said: “The lunch gave EMT the opportunity to share with the students the breadth of work of SRUC, especially the work of the Research and Consulting Divisions and the opportunities that may be open to students to interact and learn from the staff of the other Divisions.
"We were also able to explain the new governance arrangements and the opportunities open to our students to play an active role through membership of the SRUC Group Board, Education Board and other committees."
