A bright idea from Agricultural Mechanisation Lecturer Andy Findlay at SRUC’s Craibstone Campus, Aberdeen, won him a hamper.
With the arrival of more than a hundred extra Animal Care students from Aberdeen College the existing campus canteen proved too small and so everything was moved across to nearby Mackie Hall. The question was; what should the new cafeteria be called?
A competition was organised and Andy, of the Life Sciences teaching group, suggested the eventual winning name; “snacs@macs”. The hamper followed, presented by Dr Kyrsten Black, Dean of Campus.
