Animal First AidThis full-time course is suitable for anyone who has a serious interest in the care and welfare of animals and who wishes to gain the knowledge necessary to run a small animal related business of their own.

The course covers subjects related specifically to management & specialist animal care or as preparation for self employment in this sector.

Prerequisite

Applicants must hold a minimum of 2 Scottish Highers (CC)/1 A-Level Pass. If science is not offered at Higher/A level, it is a requirement at Standard/N5/GCSE level. 1 week related work experience

How Will I Learn: This is a full time course which is comprised of a combination of theoretical and some practical elements. You will also be expected to undertake self study and complete a number of written assignments and assessments.

Progression Opportunities: Progression to second or third year of degree courses may be possible on completion of the two year HND programme.
