Welcome to SRUC Barony

Accessible toilets
All our campuses have accessible (gender-neutral) toilets available.
Bar
We have a bar on campus which opens in the evenings for all students. It also has a pool table with a student pool club, and juke box.
Conferences & events
Our cost-effective facilities at SRUC Barony can accommodate small meetings right up to conferences for 400, as well as indoor and outdoor exhibitions and events.

Canteen
Our canteen, where you can find hot/cold meals, snacks and refreshments catering to all dietary requirements, has been newly refurbished, and is there for use throughout the day by all students, as well as being a dining hall in the evening for residents. We also have a Costa Coffee café.
Greenspace and outdoors
There is lots of scenic greenspace around the campus, including woodland walks and an orchard. We also have a quadrangle seating area with picnic benches and sunshades set around a Koi pond. We also have a football pitch for outdoor games. We are also conveniently located just a 5-minute drive to Forest of Ae which is one of the 7 Stanes Mountain Biking Centres, and are just a short 10-minute drive or bus ride bus to the centre of Dumfries.
Library
We have a great library on campus where you can find books and research papers on every subject you will be studying with us. If we don’t have what you're looking for, our knowledgeable staff can source many books for you from other campus' and from online resources.

The gym hall is available to use for sports and events, with access to equipment such as badminton and football.
